About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly driven, proactive relationship-builder to join their US team. This role blends account management with new business development, giving you the opportunity to both grow and maintain a strong portfolio of B2B clients. You’ll cultivate partnerships with auction houses, dealers, and galleries for both our client’s marketplace and their cutting-edge auction software.

You’ll thrive if you love sales, excel at opening doors, and aren’t afraid to take bold initiative. Your mission is to help partners succeed with our client’s group products by offering strategic guidance, clear product education, and hands-on, ongoing support. This is a role for someone who builds trust quickly, spots opportunities early, and enjoys turning great conversations into long-term partnerships.


Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development

  • Proactively source, approach, and convert high-potential prospects across the US market – opening new doors, building strong pipelines, and consistently expanding our presence among auction houses, dealers, and galleries.
  • Balance high-energy outbound outreach with effective management of inbound leads, ensuring no opportunity goes untapped.
  • Understand each prospect’s unique goals and challenges, crafting tailored proposals that clearly demonstrate the value of our client’s marketplace and their auction technology.
  • Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions with confidence, closing high-quality deals that drive revenue and long-term growth.
  • Be an ambassador for their Group products across the US, cultivating awareness and interest in our products among our target audience.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of B2B clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and strong, ongoing engagement.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships by staying close to client needs, identifying opportunities for account growth, and proactively recommending solutions.
  • Drive retention and expansion by spotting upsell opportunities early and ensuring clients consistently see value from our tools and services.

Product & Platform Expertise

  • Educate clients on best practices for using our client’s market place and the auction technology, maximizing visibility, traffic, and sales.
  • Partner with support and technical teams to quickly resolve issues, remove roadblocks, and keep clients successful.
  • Share data-driven insights, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations that help clients optimize their results.


Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in customer success, account management, business development, or another client-facing role – ideally within a SaaS, Digital Marketplaces or the Auction Industry. Experience within tech-driven environments preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and the ability to quickly convert conversations into strong partnerships.
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients while juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfort working with CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred) and staying organized through data-driven workflows.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with strong problem-solving abilities and the drive to take initiative without hesitation.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such as Spanish, Chinese, or Arabic are a plus in supporting a diverse client base.
  • Interest in art, antiques, design, or collectibles is a bonus – curiosity and eagerness to learn are just as valuable.
