About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and organised Intermediate-level Architect to join a studio in Berlin (minimum of 4 years’ professional experience). Our client’s work encompasses architecture, scenography, virtual environments and entertainment. The studio has developed large-scale projects, installations and exhibition architecture.

About the role:

Candidates should have a strong aesthetic sensibility and a proven track record; they will also ideally have previous experience in retail architecture for fashion. Candidates should be eager to explore innovative design solutions and be comfortable in a fast- paced environment. The studio expects an eye for composition and detail as well as an understanding of materials and the digital landscape. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a creative, pragmatic, and iterative design process.

The successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously on projects, as well as in teams. They should demonstrate an ability to interpret client briefs, respect project timelines, submit up to standard drawing sets within regulatory compliance.

Experience in Retail Architecture is appreciated.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine design concepts and technical details.
  • Manage production of construction documents.
  • Coordinate with consultants and other team members.
  • Conduct site analysis and oversee project development.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Mentor junior architects and provide guidance as needed.

Qualifications

Must have:

  • Degree in architecture, preferably a Master’s degree
  • 4-7 years of professional experience in architecture.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Passion for research, architecture, interior architecture and design.
  • Strong graphic and design talent.
  • High level of skill in design thinking and presentation.
  • Ability to work under stress and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Valid working VISA for the EU.

Salary: EUR 45k+

ASAP start date, September 2026 latest
