Hi, I'm Abby, and I'm the Marketing and Administrative Assistant at LWAI. I have been with the company since March 2024, first as an intern and now as a full time member of the team!&nbsp;My background is in history and I completed both my BA and MA in History at the University of Southampton in 2021 and 2022 respectively. Since then, I have worked in a number of roles in the art and museums industry, including as a Visitor Assistant at Royal Museums Greenwich, with the Conservation team at the National Portrait Gallery and as a research &amp; curatorial assistant at Chawton House Library in Hampshire. In 2023, I founded and continue to run a collaborative historical education platform called The HERstory Project: a website, magazine and podcast all about underrepresented histories. Currently, I am applying for a PhD programme and I hope that I will be able to continue to work within art and heritage as my career progresses!In my current role with LWAI, I am responsible for a variety of tasks, including our content on social media and the development of our new website. I also conduct some recruitment tasks alongside my colleagues. Talking to our candidates about their careers, experiences and goals is my favourite part of this position, and I would be glad to help you discover your most suitable career path.&nbsp;

I&rsquo;m Ekaterina Dubinskaya, a Recruitment Consultant at Lacey West Art International, where I have been since Summer 2023. With an emphasis on management, operations, and communications, I have over five years of experience in the commercial fine art industry.Since an early age, I have been interested in art history, architecture, and design, as well as heritage and culture. Hence I chose to study History of Art at the University of York after finishing my A-levels in England. Later on, I wanted to dive deeper into the structure of the art world and learn how it operates, so I enrolled in a Master&rsquo;s degree in Art and Cultural Management at King&rsquo;s College London.After graduating, I completed a few internships which helped me to build up practical experience. My first full-time employment was with a Contemporary Art Gallery in London as the Head of Communications. During my time in this position, I discovered that interacting with people was my favourite aspect of my work and I developed a better awareness of my talents and interests, which include diplomacy, attentiveness, and the value of mentorship. To take this further, I enrolled in Westminster University&rsquo;s volunteer mentorship program, in which I meet with students and offer career and resume advice. I also participated, with my LWAI colleagues, at the Sotheby&rsquo;s Institute Career Fair 2024 where I presented on the current art job market and shared information with graduates who are interested in pursuing art careers.In my present position as a Recruiter, I greatly enjoy assisting our candidates in discovering the most suitable career paths by imparting the skills and knowledge I have acquired throughout my professional and academic experiences.&nbsp;
