Recruiter

I’m Lacey West, Founder and Director of Lacey West Art International, which I established in 2010 to provide a professional and personal recruitment service for the art world.Originally from the United States, I moved to London to complete my MA in Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Following this, I spent five years managing two commercial galleries, where I developed a strong understanding of the art market and the skills needed to run successful art businesses.Over the past decade and a half, I have grown LWAI into a trusted recruitment agency with a global reach. Together with my team, I have placed hundreds of carefully selected candidates across galleries, museums, art fairs, and arts organisations worldwide. Our approach is built on honesty, integrity, and long-term relationships, and we take pride in helping both clients and candidates thrive.I am deeply invested in the international art community and remain passionate about building connections, supporting careers, and strengthening the cultural sector. Alongside my work at LWAI, I am always interested in contributing to wider industry projects and initiatives that support professional development within the art world.
