About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and organised Senior Architect to join their studio in Berlin (minimum of 8 years’ professional experience). Our client’s work encompasses architecture, scenography, virtual environments and entertainment. The studio has developed large-scale projects, installations and exhibition architecture.

About the Role:

Candidates should be eager to explore innovative design solutions and be comfortable in a fast- paced environment. They are expected to have a keen eye for composition and detail as well as a deep understanding of materials and the digital landscape. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a creative, pragmatic, and iterative design process.

Candidates should be able to work autonomously on complex projects, as well as in teams. They should demonstrate an ability to mentor other architects and designers, interpret client briefs, create project timelines, review drawing sets and ensure regulatory compliance. Experience in Retail Architecture is highly appreciated.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire design process for complex projects.
  • Develop innovative design solutions and concepts that meet client requirements.
  • Preparation and review of drawings, presentation and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Mentor and supervise junior and intermediate architects.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in architecture.
  • 8-12 years of professional experience in architecture.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • High proficiency working in Rhino and 3D rendering software (Vray or similar), AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite programs in particular InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and able to consistently meet project and design goals.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • High level of skill in design thinking and presentation.
  • Interest in sustainable design solutions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under stress and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Valid working VISA for the EU

Salary: EUR 65k+

Start date ASAP, by September 2026 at the latest
