This position would suit an individual with an art and/or marketing background who is looking to gain experience across administrative responsibilities and the creation of digital assets, creative content, and marketing strategies.

About the role:

Social Media:

  • Own the social media strategy across all channels to ensure company’s visibility and audience growth
  • Write, create, schedule and post daily across LWAI’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, X & Instagram)
  • Manage and generate engagement & monitor popular trends within the art world on social media (e.g. accepting requests, interacting with posts, sharing and reposting) to increase followers
  • Monitor and reply to messages sent to the LWAI pages and Lacey West’s personal LinkedIn account
  • Send invitations to relevant people within the art world (LinkedIn)
  • Manage the LWAI Instagram page and a newly created website
  • Copywrite captions

General Admin:

  • Maintain and update website, including managing vacancy posts, information pages, contact information and blog posts
  • Respond timely to candidate enquiries across all channels (database and LinkedIn when needed)
  • Conduct thorough candidate searches via our database and LinkedIn based on specific role briefs
  • Maintain and manage candidates’ records to ensure the information is up to date
  • Approach candidates via the database to gauge interest and suitability for roles
  • Conduct screening calls with candidates and prepare notes and CVs for submission for suitable roles
  • Arrange interviews with shortlisted candidates for clients and liaise with other LWAI team members and occasionally clients to organise
  • Write and edit job specs as needed
  • Regularly source/research new roles posted online and reach out on behalf of the agency to offer recruitment support
  • Other ad hoc administrative duties and technical support

Person specification: Interest in art market, proactive, flexible and with meticulous attention to deadlines and details.

Role is full time and mostly remote with one office day each week in Farringdon (usually Tues or Thurs).

Salary: DOE plus commission on placements after 1 year in position
