About the Role
About the role
Our client is seeking a proactive and versatile Executive Assistant to support the Artistic Director of a gallery and foundation. The role combines organizational, operational, and cultural tasks with hands-on involvement in events, catalogues, research, and sponsorships.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director with priorities, scheduling, and daily coordination.
- Support event planning and exhibition setup, liaising with designers, brands, partners, and event planners.
- Manage and expand contacts, including fundraising and sponsorships.
- Collect and organize images, texts, and scientific research on historical artworks.
- Maintain the Foundation’s database and archives.
Requirements
- 2–3 years’ experience in organizational/assistant roles, preferably in art, culture, or events.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Practical experience in exhibition/event organization.
- Background in fundraising/sponsor relations.
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel when required.
Location: Remote (based in London), with availability to work 1 day per week in Oxford alongside the Director
Commitment: 2-3 days per week
Compensation: £110 net per day + commission on sponsorships secured (about £35k annually, pro rata)
